Tl;dr - I'm looking for software that can use a connected KISS TNC for regular (non-aprs) packet/bbs terminal operation. I'd like to find easy2use software for windows, mac, linux, and potentially even on mobile (android/iphone). I used to do a bit of packet 'back in the day'. With a TNC, it's pretty simple.     • Sep 21, 2009  For regular old AX.25 packet with a TNC, any terminal program should work. Some fancier programs put the TNC in 'KISS' mode and do more things themselves, and most commonly now people just use soundcard TNCs (emulate the TNC in software and connect the radio to the soundcard).
